Knock, Knock. Who's There?!

Several homeowners are getting reports of unwanted knocks at their front door, that it’s a knock of a criminal hoping they will open up so they could just rush in.

Many are posing as   maintenance workers, salespersons and some are just trying to see if anyone’s home so they could bust right in.

One resident in a small town community of Alabama said, "They just kept ringing the doorbell and knocking at the door, and ringing at the doorbell and knocking at the door."

You can even see the footprints of where they kicked the door repeatedly until they "knocked it clean off the hinges." This resident (real name is classified) was so terrified that she had to lock herself inside of her room and, fortunately for her, things didn’t get any worse. These criminals were so determined to get in and take what was in the house, regardless.

Thankfully, they got what they wanted and left in a hurry. When she finally called the police from inside her hiding space, the invaders were gone, and it was a huge relief for her when law enforcement finally showed up.

Numerous reports from her neighbors who were also victimized by the same intruders went on for several more months until finally they were all apprehended. Lucky for these small communities, there haven't been any reports of people getting hurt or loss of lives.

Moral of this story-- You should feel very leery in opening up your door at night as well as certain times during the day even though it may seem very strange to have unexpected company out of nowhere.

Try putting up a "No solicitation" sign on your front yard or door, so that they will be in violation of the ordinance if they come up and offer you a product or service.

Having to do this sort of makeover for your house in order to keep the intruders out is where theBulldog Bar comes in. theBulldog Bar should be installed on your front door because it can stop intruders right there…outside the front door.
